I am a growth leader, entrepreneur, keynote speaker and customer experience specialist with an international background in B2B SaaS, retail performance and brand activation.

Originally from Northern Finland and educated at Turku School of Economics, my journey has taken me from building startups in Finland to living and working in Melbourne, Australia. Over the years, I have operated at the intersection of commercial growth, customer experience, and performance-driven leadership.

I am the founder of Feedbackly, a customer experience SaaS platform where we built advanced multi-channel customer feedback and analytics solutions for retail and online businesses. After scaling the company internationally, I made a partial exit and transitioned from founder-operator to growth-focused leadership roles in B2B SaaS. Today, I work as a growth leader, focusing on commercial strategy, go-to-market execution, and measurable performance outcomes.

Alongside my business career, I founded Yrittäjä.io, which grew into Finland’s largest purely digital community for entrepreneurs. The community rapidly scaled to over 20,000 members and became a platform for modern entrepreneurial dialogue, digital engagement and ecosystem building.

My work has always centred on one core belief: growth is created when insight, execution and courage align.

Today, Melbourne is home. From here, I operate internationally while continuing to build commercial ecosystems, partnerships and growth strategies across markets.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND TRAINER

Public speaking was not always natural to me. In fact, I spent years struggling with a strong fear of performing in front of audiences. What I had, however, was a strong desire to communicate and influence.

I learned that there are no shortcuts to confidence. You build it by doing. Repeatedly. Since those early struggles, I have spoken in front of thousands of people across Europe and internationally. My themes centre around customer experience, emotional value, commercial growth and performance psychology. I am the main developer of the Emotional Value Index EVI®, a framework designed to measure and understand emotional drivers behind customer behaviour.

Whether speaking to executives, retail teams or growth leaders, my goal is not just to inform but to shift perspective. When people see their environment differently, performance follows.

ENTREPRENEUR & GROWTH LEADER

Entrepreneurship has always been part of my identity. My first venture started at the age of twelve with a small lawn mowing company. Since then, I have built, advised and scaled multiple businesses across technology, retail and community platforms.

Feedbackly became my most significant entrepreneurial chapter. We built one of the most advanced multi-channel customer experience measurement platforms in the Nordics, collecting millions of retail data points and working with major brands and sports retailers. After years of growth and international expansion, I made a structured partial exit and shifted into broader growth leadership within B2B SaaS.

Today, my focus is on scalable growth systems. That means aligning sales, marketing, data and customer insight into measurable commercial performance. I enjoy building frameworks that transform ambition into execution and strategy into revenue.

Community building remains close to my heart. In addition to Yrittäjä.io, I founded Mulligan Golf, a growing golf community that connects competitive players, enthusiasts and partners. Through Mulligan Golf, we organised one of the largest amateur golf tours in Finland, bringing together players, brands and venues around a shared passion for the game.

Golf & Active life

Sport has always shaped how I think about leadership and growth.

Today I compete on the mini tours of Victoria, Australia, balancing competitive golf with business leadership. Playing tournament golf sharpens focus, resilience and decision making under pressure. The same principles apply in business. Preparation creates confidence. Discipline builds consistency. Performance is rarely accidental.

Golf for me is not only a hobby but a lens through which I understand systems, feedback and continuous improvement. From course management to equipment decisions, I am deeply interested in how small adjustments influence measurable outcomes.

Beyond golf, I stay active through running, strength training, hiking and ocean pursuits. I still love sailing and the Nordic archipelago, and I try to get to the waves whenever possible. Movement and challenge are essential parts of my rhythm.

At the core of everything I do is growth. Commercial growth. Personal growth. Performance growth.´ The environment may change. The ambition does not.

Jaakko is a growth leader, entrepreneur and former SaaS founder based in Melbourne, Australia. He founded and scaled the customer experience platform Feedbackly, later making a structured partial exit before transitioning into commercial growth leadership within B2B technology. He is the creator of the Emotional Value Index (EVI®) and the founder of Finland’s largest digital entrepreneur community, Yrittäjä.io.
